Ruben Annink zullen de meeste mensen kennen als finalist van het programma ‘De beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland’ in 2015 of van zijn deelname aan het programma ‘Beste Zangers’ in 2019.
De Belgische band Mooneye rondom Michiel Libberecht won in 2019 De Nieuwe Lichting van Studio Brussel. In 2018 werd hun eerste EP door muziekblad OOR al bestempeld tot “meesterlijke popsongs”.
Singer-songwriter TAMAR is geen onbekende meer in het noorden. In 2020 nam ze deel aan het Drentsch Peil XL ontwikkelingstraject, dat haar een plek in de Hit the North-selectie van Eurosonic Noorderslag opleverde. Afgelopen januari stond ze op Eurosonic en werd ze ook nog eens genomineerd voor de Popgala Noord Talent Award.
